FHRAI to Host 54th Annual Convention in Goa from October 16-18, 2024

The Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) has officially announced that its 54th Annual Convention will be held at the Taj Cidade de Goa, Convention Centre in Goa from October 16-18, 2024.

The theme of the convention will be, “Tourism @2047: Incredible to Inevitable India – Driving Growth and Sustainability in a Mission Mode,” which aligns with the Government of India’s long-term vision of transforming India into a developed country by 2047. The theme underscores the importance of fostering sustainable growth in the tourism and hospitality sectors as a cornerstone for national progress.

Mr. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, Government of India will inaugurate the prestigious event on the opening day.

According to Mr. Pradeep Shetty, President of FHRAI, the convention is expected to attract approximately 1,000 delegates from across India and abroad, including prominent hoteliers, restaurateurs, and key stakeholders from the hospitality and tourism industries. The three-day event will serve as an essential platform for industry networking, collaboration, and discussion on emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the hospitality sector.

He also added that, the FHRAI Annual Convention is widely regarded as the premier event for the hospitality industry in India. It brings together policymakers, industry leaders, and government officials to exchange ideas and best practices that will drive the growth and development of the sector.

The major Highlights of the Convention are the Knowledge Sessions, Innovations & Best Practices, Networking Opportunities, and Exhibition. The convention provides an unparalleled opportunity for networking among hoteliers, restaurateurs, policymakers, and other stakeholders from the tourism and hospitality industries and the various seminar sessions will focus on sharing innovative ideas and best practices to further enhance the sector’s growth.
