Oman Air Joins Oneworld Alliance, Expanding Global Reach

Oneworld Alliance, has announced that Oman Air officially become its 15th member airline. As the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, Oman Air significantly strengthens the alliance’s presence in the Middle East, opening up new travel possibilities for passengers worldwide.

Effective July 1, oneworld customers will gain access to an expanded network of destinations through Oman Air’s growing global schedule, which includes the launch of a new direct service between Muscat and Amsterdam.

As a full oneworld member, Oman Air will extend benefits to oneworld Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby tier customers. These benefits include the ability to earn and redeem miles, accumulate status points, enjoy priority check-in and boarding, and access exclusive lounges. Similarly, Oman Air’s top-tier passengers will now enjoy oneworld priority benefits, including access to nearly 700 premium airport lounges globally. This also includes the newly opened oneworld branded lounges at Amsterdam’s Schiphol and Seoul’s Incheon Airports.
