AIR INDIA’S NEW YEAR CELEBRATION: BOOK NOW FOR AIRBUS A350 DOMESTIC FLIGHTS

In a festive New Year announcement, Air India revealed that its cutting-edge Airbus A350, the first of its kind in India, will commence commercial operations on January 22, 2024. To commemorate the nation’s soaring aspirations, the airline has opened bookings for A350 flights, initially servicing domestic routes for crew familiarization and regulatory compliance.

Passengers from Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai can seize the opportunity to fly on the Airbus A350, experiencing its unmatched comfort and state-of-the-art technology adorned in Air India’s striking new livery. This marks a significant milestone in Air India’s transformation journey, with plans to deploy the A350 on longer-haul international flights in the future.

On December 23, 2023, Air India welcomed its first Airbus A350-900 aircraft, registered as VT-JRA, at IGI Airport, Delhi. This aircraft, equipped with Rolls Royce Trent XWB engines, represents the initial delivery from Air India’s record-breaking order of 470 aircraft, with new arrivals scheduled every six days throughout 2024. The A350 boasts 20% greater fuel efficiency, contributing to reduced emissions and sustainable operations.

The A350-900 features a three-class cabin configuration with 316 seats, including 28 private Business suites, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 264 spacious Economy seats. All seats are equipped with the latest-generation Panasonic eX3 in-flight entertainment system and HD screens, enhancing the overall flying experience with a fresh content lineup.
