The Outbound Tour Operators Association of India has announced the New Leadership Team for 2024-2026
The Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI), the umbrella organization of India’s outbound tourism sector, has officially announced its newly elected leadership team for the term 2024-2026. Mr Himanshu Kesari Patil, Managing Director of Kesari Tours Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai has been elected as the President of the association and Mr. Sidharth Khanna, Khanna Enterprises (Regd.) as General Secretary, while Mr Shravan Bhalla, High Flyer as Vice President and Ms. Monia Kapoor, Travel O Holidays as Joint Secretary. Mr Gurdeep Singh Gujral, Gujral Tours and Travels is the new Treasurer.
In addition to the core leadership team, the following industry leaders comprising veterans and youngsters have been elected to the Executive Committee (EC) for the term 2024-2026:
Mr. Riaz Munshi, N. Chirag Travels Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Adl Abdul Karim, Flycreative Online Mumbai; Mr. Ankush Nijhawan, Travel Boutique (a unit of Lap Travels Pvt. Ltd.); Mr. Rohit Shorey, Destination Travel Services Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Vineet Gopal, Engee Holidays and Mr. Vinayak Laud, Vinaayak Holidays.
The newly elected dynamic team consists of prominent players in the Indian outbound sector with their experience and expertise is set to spearhead initiatives aimed to bring fresh perspectives and renewed energy to OTOAI, focusing on key areas such as innovation, strategic partnerships, industry engagement and promoting outbound tourism both nationally and internationally.
The elections of the Outbound Tour Operators Association of India, held on December 5, 2024, in New Delhi, marked the conclusion of the 2022-2024 term. Mr. Sanjay Datta, Managing Director of Airborne Holiday, served as the Election Officer, ensuring a smooth, fair, and transparent process. OTOAI extends its gratitude to the outgoing team for their exemplary service, which included launching impactful initiatives and forging key industry partnerships.
This diverse and experienced committee will play a crucial role in supporting OTOAI’s vision for the future of outbound tourism from India.
With the new leadership officially assuming office on December 6, 2024, OTOAI is poised to embark on an exciting journey of progress and transformation. The team aims to strengthen the association’s presence on the global stage, promote member engagement, and introduce forward-thinking strategies for the benefit of India’s outbound tourism sector.
