Durga Puja and Garba are essential elements of Navratri and so are the Sindoor Khela and Bengali food. Taking a cue from this, Indore Marriott Hotel is all set to host its guests for Sonar Bangla, a Bengali food festival, which will be held at Indore Kitchen from 4th October to 20th October 2019.
Bengali food is mostly known for its non-vegetarian and seafood delicacies, but Indore Marriott Hotel will also be presenting a large variety of lip-smacking vegetarian dishes. To add more authenticity to this festival, the hotel has created an ambiance that will give the feel of Durga Pujo and the Hotel staff will be dressed in the traditional Bengali attire.
While introducing the food festival, Devesh Rawat, General Manager of Indore Marriott said, “No festival is complete without a platter of scrumptious food. Navratri is one such festival where people look forward to relishing some authentic Bengali food. Thus, the hotel has decided to give one more reason for Indoreans to come forward and celebrate the festival with us while enjoying Bengali food prepared by our chefs.”
Somrup Chanda, Food and Beverage Director of Indore Marriott Hotel said, “Sonar Bangla food festival would have a wide range of Bengali cuisine to satisfy all types of foodies. From Macher Jhal to Shorche Jhol, Mangshor Jhol, Shukto, Bati Chorchori, and Enchorer Kalia, all vegetarian and non-vegetarian varieties of Bengali recipes will be served. We are also having a dedicated sweet and dessert counter serving authentic Bengali sweets.”
The four-course meal is priced at Rs 1299 per person and Rs 1999 per person with unlimited IMFL.
