Munnar Destination Makers (MDM), the Hotel & Resorts promoter’s association has designated Mr. Jolly James (General Manager, The Leaf Munnar) has the new President and Mr. Benny George (General Manager, Mountain club, Munnar) as the new secretary at their annual general body meeting held recently. Mr. Shankar Rajashekaran (G.M, Blanket Hotel & Spa) has selected as the Vice President and Mrs. Sreekala Manohar (Managing Director, Golden Ridge Mountain Resort) as the Joint Secretary . Mr.Pramod T.C (Operation Manager, Swiss County) is the new Treasurer of MDM.
‘Munnar Destination Makers’ is an organization based at Munnar, that intent to solve issues like waste management, plastic removal and other common issues facing Munnar. Making all the hotels imbibe these nature friendly practices besides working towards and bringing more tourists to Munnar is what they are aiming at. Outgoing President of MDM, Mr. Vimal Roy (G.M, The Fog Resort and Spa) and Secretary Mr. Abbas.
