Qatar Airways revolutionary Qsuite landed at Washington, D.C

January 7, 2018August 10, 2020

Qatar Airways welcomed 2018 by introducing its innovative Qsuite on Washington, D.C. flights, making the city the second U.S. destination to offer the innovative new Business Class product.

Qsuite, a patented Qatar Airways product, is already fast collecting awards for bringing a First Class experience to the Business Class cabin. Qsuite features the industry’s first-ever double bed in Business Class and customizable private cabins for up to four people, setting a new standard in luxury travel. Qatar Airways proudly launched Qsuite at ITB Berlin in March 2017, and has set a new standard for luxury travel.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said: “The introduction of Qsuite to Washington, a city we have served for the past 10 years, demonstrates our continued commitment to providing the utmost quality and service to our valued customers. Since our launch a decade ago, Washington Dulles has seen some of the highest demand for our business class ,# across any of our other U.S. gateways, so bringing Qsuite to Washington was a natural choice. We look forward to continuing to revolutionize the way people travel to and from the U.S. capital.”

Qatar Airways was recognised for its launch of Qsuite by receiving the ‘Best Airline Innovation of the Year’ award at the 2017 ULTRAS (Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards) last year.

Qatar Airways celebrated 10 years of flying to the United States capital in 2017, with its first flight to Washington Dulles International Airport from Doha on 19 July 2007. In the past year, the airline has carried more than 185,000 passengers from Washington, D.C. to destinations across Asia, Africa, the Pacific, and the Middle East. Qatar Airways also remains the preferred carrier for people traveling from Washington, D.C. to the airline’s 13 destinations in India.
