Mr. Sandun Jayasinghe, Area Manager for SriLankan Airlines in Trivandrum

Mr Sandun Jayasinghe, Area Manager for Sri Lankan Airlines in Trivandrum, shared, “Sri Lanka is just an hour’s flight from Trivandrum, and Sri Lankan Airlines was the first international carrier to touch down in this beautiful city. We aim to promote Sri Lanka as a top travel destination among the residents of Trivandrum while highlighting the historical and cultural connections shared between Sri Lanka, Kerala, and neighbouring Tamil Nadu, especially food and traditions. Over the past four decades, Sri Lankan Airlines has been a preferred choice for Gulf-bound Keralites, and recently, we’ve seen a growing trend of leisure travellers and honeymooners choosing Sri Lanka as their favourite holiday destination. We are now focusing on attracting more family leisure groups and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) travellers from Kerala to Sri Lanka.”
