Mr Suveer Sodhi has been appointed as the new Cluster General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road & Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road. With over 17 years of distinguished experience in the hospitality sector, Mr Sodhi brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success to his new role. Previously, he served as the General Manager of Alila Diwa Goa and the Diwa Club, a luxury Hyatt Resort, for the last four and a half years.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr Sodhi has earned numerous accolades, including being named the F&B Professional of the Year by Vir Sanghvi in 2016 and his inclusion in Hozpitality’s 30 Most Popular General Managers in India for 2023. His leadership style is characterized by exceptional team management abilities and inspirational guidance, garnering him admiration and respect within the industry.
Mr Sodhi’s journey in the hospitality industry commenced with a solid educational foundation, having studied at The University of Huddersfield and the Institute of Hotel Management Aurangabad. He began his career as a Management Trainee in F&B at Hyatt Regency New Delhi and has since held pivotal roles such as General Manager – Operations at DLF Restaurants Limited and Director of Food and Beverage at Amanresorts and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr Sodhi finds fulfilment as a devoted father to his son Samarveer and maintains a balanced work-life equilibrium with his wife, Marcia. He is also passionate about travel, fitness, and exploring diverse cuisines around the globe.
