Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) 2026 is set to mark its biggest edition in the event’s 25-year history, with unprecedented participation from buyers, sellers, media and tourism stakeholders from across India and international markets.
The 13th edition of the Kerala Travel Mart, regarded as one of India’s leading tourism and hospitality trade platforms, has registered 800 international buyers and 2,250 domestic buyers. Of the overall buyer registrations, 1,200 will participate as hosted buyers, while another 300 will attend as non-hosted buyers, taking the total number of participating buyers to 1,500.
Kerala Chief Minister Mr.V. D. Satheesan will formally inaugurate KTM 2026 at the LuLu Bolgatty International Convention Centre on September 24. Tourism Minister P. C. Vishnunadh will preside over the inaugural ceremony, with Excise and Cooperation Minister M. Liju attending as the guest of honour.
The strong buyer turnout is matched by increased participation from tourism enterprises and institutions. As many as 383 sellers have completed their stall bookings, while 25 additional stalls representing various government institutions will showcase their initiatives and programmes.
The scale of business engagement is reflected in more than 45,000 meetings already scheduled for the mart. The extensive programme of business-to-business interactions is expected to create opportunities for tourism companies to develop new partnerships, strengthen existing markets and explore emerging business prospects.

International participation will also be prominent in the media programme. A total of 138 media representatives have registered for the event, comprising 71 international and 67 national journalists. Their presence is expected to provide wider visibility for Kerala’s destinations, tourism products and emerging experiences.
Over the four-day event, KTM 2026 will feature business meetings alongside interactions among tourism policymakers, sector-focused seminars and panel discussions involving experts from India and overseas. The sessions will address key developments and opportunities shaping the tourism industry.
The mart’s engagement will extend beyond the convention venue through an extensive programme of familiarisation tours. Post-mart tours will be conducted from September 28 to October 3, covering 12 different regions of Kerala. Ahead of the main event, a pre-mart tour for invited international and domestic media representatives will begin on September 19, offering three different itineraries.
Technology will be another defining feature of KTM 2026, with the event moving to a fully digital operating system. Registration, appointment scheduling, B2B meetings, accommodation and transportation arrangements will all be managed digitally.
A revamped software platform and mobile application will further enhance the participant experience by providing real-time information, updates and support throughout the event. The digital transformation is designed to streamline operations while making business interactions more efficient for buyers, sellers, media and other participants.
With record registrations, an expanded business programme and wider international participation, KTM 2026 is poised to reinforce Kerala’s position as a major destination for tourism trade and investment.
