Qatar Airways has unveiled its 2024 network expansion, introducing new destinations and resumptions that are open for booking ahead of the New Year. Travel enthusiasts can kickstart their 2024 summer plans with the resumption of flights to Venice, Italy, in June, followed by the addition of the captivating city of Hamburg, Germany, to the airline’s route network in July.
These newly added gateways are poised to stimulate increased economic and tourism activity, further enriching Qatar Airways’ extensive network, which already spans over 170 destinations. The Venice route is anticipated to draw high demand from travelers originating in Japan, China, and Australia, while Hamburg will serve as a key gateway connecting to South Africa, Thailand, and the Philippines.
Commenting on the expansion, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer stated, “As we conclude this year, we are thrilled to offer our passengers new and exciting travel opportunities for 2024. Travelers aiming to spend the summer of 2024 in Europe now have a wider array of choices, whether it’s soaking up the sun by the river in Hamburg or savoring gelato while cruising the canals of Venice.
These announcements follow Qatar Airways’ recent expansion of its winter schedule, featuring increased flight frequencies to key leisure destinations like Amsterdam, Bangkok, Barcelona, Belgrade, and Miami, all conveniently connected through the Middle East’s Best Airport, Hamad International Airport in Doha.
